This is a join inside a brass ferrule covered by heat
shrink by some Floor heat contractors in the 70's
up to today in inslab heating.

This is a termination used on m.i.m.s..floor.heat cable
with open circuit inside. I have cut the heatshrink
to expose the joint.

This is a m.i.m.s. inslab heating cable with nail driven
into cable by the carpet layer into the floorheat.

This is a troublesome termination used on m.i.m.s.
cable. Main problem was the joint was pushed into
a conduit stopping heat transfer from the cable
inside.
